Now this flash memory card is another of those technological miracles. I mean, how on earth can they store so much information in something not much bigger than a postage stamp and thin as a wafer? To give you some perspective, a big book might be a 1 Megabyte file. You might get anywhere between 50 and 100 such books on a 6-foot bookshelf. So you would need around 100 6-foot shelves to hold as much information as one of these cards in the form of printed text. It also holds about a dozen albums of music - or around a thousand high quality mp3s. Note that SDHC cards may not work on older devices which can only take the older SD cards.
